We are looking for suitably qualified, highly motivated, dynamic and pro-active radiographer to take up these temporary band 6 positions at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary.

The Radiology Department carries out a full range of imaging for the Emergency Department, Out-patients, Ward patients, GP's  and Theatre work.

You would be expected to provide supervision and support to band 5 radiographers and students, so leadership skills are essential.

You will be required to support some of the duties delegated by the lead radiographer.

You would be expected to cover 7 day working including bank holiday cover  as part of a 7 day shift system

Anyone newly appointed to the trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period (this includes bank staff). This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment.
