Oncology Unit  Lancaster - Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI) & Westmorland General Hospital (WGH)

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Chemotherapy nurse to join our team providing quality, patient focussed care within the Day Treatment and Out Patient Clinics in the Oncology and Haematology Unit predominately at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary although some travel to our unit at WGH will be expected. There will be a requirement to work flexibly within the team to support clinical service delivery.

Recent experience of Oncology and Haematology essential with evidence of up to date SACT competency assessment and SACT passport. You must also possess excellent communication and customer care skills.

Informal visits to the unit are encouraged by interested applicants

Anyone newly appointed to the trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period (this includes bank staff). This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment.
