An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse with an interest in older persons Medicine to join our team within the Morecambe Bay hospitals.

Previous experience in medicine  would be an advantage but experience can be gained once in post.

The department is committed to appraisal and to support education and professional development.

Candidates should have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working within a close knit multidisciplinary team.

If you are successful at the shortlisting stage you will be invited to spend the afternoon with us on Friday, 7 June 2019 at Royal Lancaster Infirmary.

The afternoon will begin with a presentation, after which there will be a drugs calculation test and a 1:1 interview followed by a tour of the hospital site where you will have the opportunity to talk to members of staff

Anyone newly appointed to the trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period (this includes bank staff). This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment.
