''A great place to be cared for; a great place to work''

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and hardworking individual to join a dynamic Financial Management team.

We are seeking an AAT qualified (or equivalent) individual for the key role of Financial Analyst.

The successful candidate will be an experienced, forward thinking and highly motivated team player looking for their next challenge. You will report to and support the Deputy Care Group Finance Manager in the delivery of expert financial management advice to Care Groups, allowing them to develop and provide services in a financially efficient manner.

You will be an ambitious, enthusiastic and conscientious individual with a positive and proactive approach to change. You must have proven general accounting skills and have excellent IT skills (particularly Microsoft Excel) with the ability to analyse complex data and transform it into meaningful information that can be understood by non-finance managers. You will need to be able to work under pressure and perform against tight and competing deadlines. A flexible approach and a can-do attitude are crucial. Financial management experience is preferred. Previous NHS experience is desirable but not essential.

A full training package is available for studying towards a CCAB professional qualification.

Anyone newly appointed to the Trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probation period (this includes bank staff). This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment.

Applicant requirements

Applications from job seekers who require Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. However, non-EEA candidates may not be appointed to a post if a suitably qualified, experienced and skilled EU/EEA candidate is available to take up the post as the employing body is unlikely, in these circumstances, to satisfy the resident labour market test. UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) requires employers to complete this test to show that no suitably qualified EEA or EU worker can fill the post. For further information please visit the UKVI website. From 6 April 2017, Tier 2 skilled worker applicants, applying for entry clearance into the UK, must present a criminal record certificate from each country they have resided continuously or cumulatively for 12 months or more in the past 10 years. Adult dependants (over 18 years old) will also be subject to this requirement. Guidance can be found here Criminal Records Checks for Overseas Applicants.
