''A great place to be cared for; a great place to work''

We have a vacancy for a registered nurse and we would welcome applications from both newly qualified staff nurses and also staff nurses with experience.

Ward 20 is a busy elderly care ward which has a focus on multidisciplinary team working, dementia care and a keen eye for developing staff.  Medical Unit 2 where Ward 20 is based is a friendly site with excellent educational opportunities and support.

If you are successful at the shortlisting stage you will be invited to spend the afternoon with us on Friday, 7th June  2019 at Royal Lancaster Infirmary.

The afternoon will begin with a presentation, after which there will be a drugs calculation test and a 1:1 interview followed by a tour of the hospital site where you will have the opportunity to talk to members of staff.

Anyone newly appointed to the trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period (this includes bank staff). This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment.
