Professionally accountable for the leadership and co-ordination of a 9-person capital services team that delivers around 50 projects a year, both newbuild and backlog work.

Managerial and technical responsibility for a range of services including capital planning, property management, contract procurement, design management, our property register and general estates information.

Responsible for the phasing and delivery of the building and infrastructure elements of the Capital Plan, which includes newbuild projects, refurbishments of existing space, renewal of infrastructure including engineering plant, all in conjunction with Finance Dept and with clinical groups across the Trust's several sites. 

Anyone newly appointed to the trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period (this includes bank staff). This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment.
