Langdale North is looking to recruit  dedicated and motivated staff nurses to work within the heart of the Lake District area. You will be expected to develop your skills and have a commitment to deliver high quality care to a range of patients with differing and often complex presentations.

This is an excellent opportunity for Registered Nurses to develop their skills in a 16 bedded step up step down unit based on the Westmorland General site. This is an exciting opportunity to work within the integrated community care group to help and support patients being cared for closer to home.

The successful candidate must be a 1st level registered nurse with evidence of a commitment to working in this environment. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work within a changing environment with a flexible approach and be keen to develop as the  service demands. This post includes weekend and bank holiday working, as well as working extended hours, ensuring there is 24 hour cover across the locality. This will include being part of a 24 hour rota to ensure service continuity.

Anyone newly appointed to the trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period (this includes bank staff). This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment.
