Band 7 Highly Specialist Cardiac Physiologist. (on completion of HRUK or equivalent)

University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust covers a large geographic area which encompasses the Furness peninsula, the city of Lancaster and the Lake District. Clinical investigation Services are provided on three sites, Royal Lancaster Infirmary, Furness General Hospital and Westmorland General Hospital.  It is envisaged the post holder will be based at the Westmorland site and covering the acute sites when necessary.

An opportunity has arisen to join a friendly, committed team in clinical Investigations. We are looking for a motivated, dedicated and enthusiastic individual.

The clinical Investigation Unit provides a wide range of invasive and non- invasive services. We have a dedicated Cardiac centre based at Westmorland offering Angiography, pacing and CRT service.

Applicants must possess or be willing to towards HRUK or equivalent, RCCP registration and have proof of Continued professional development,  excellent communication and customer care skills and demonstrate a willingness to work both independently and as part of the wider team.

We would be willing to employ a band 6 willing to work towards the required qualification  - paid on band 6 salary pay scale until completion.

Anyone newly appointed to the trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period (this includes bank staff). This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment.
