The Pharmacy Department at  Furness General Hospital are looking for enthusiastic, well motivated person to join our team.

This varied post covers duties within the main dispensary as well as ward based activities and also provides an excellent opportunity for career development.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm with rotational Weekend and Bank Holiday work.

To apply for this position you need to hold a BTEC National Certificate in Pharmacy Sciences and an NVQ level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent recognised dispensing qualification and you must be registered with the GPhC as a practicing Pharmacy Technician.

Anyone newly appointed to the trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period (this includes bank staff). This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment.
