An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Nurse to join the Furness Rapid Response Service.

In this exciting and developing service, the post holder will need to be self-motivated and enthusiastic in order to provide robust clinical services for patients in their own home focusing on preventing acute hospital admissions and timely discharges from hospital.

You will join a team of Occupational Therapists, Community Nurses, Assistant Practitioners and Therapy Assistants. You will have further opportunities to work with a range of services and professionals across both community and hospital services to prevent acute hospital admissions.

You will have knowledge and experience in the assessment and treatment  with patients presenting with varied complex physical conditions including skills in intravenous administration and venepuncture/cannulation. As a community nurse you will be motivated to join us in improving our patients’ experiences and outcomes.

It is anticipated the post holder will work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
