Applications are invited from enthusiastic, well-motivated Registered Nurses to join our Gynaecological Nursing team at Furness General Hospital.

Based on Ward 1, you will participate in a fully integrated Gynaecological nursing service covering inpatients, day case surgery and outpatients, with internal rotation to night duty.

We provide a Gynaecology Assessment Unit, Early Pregnancy Unit, and are looking to expand our Nurse led services.

We also have a responsibility to care for non Gynaecology In patients.

Interest in women’s health issues, good communication skills and a commitment to providing high standards of care are essential attributes for the post.

This service is developing and therefore you will need to be flexible and adaptable.

Anyone newly appointed to the trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period (this includes bank staff). This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
